Label favourite Braxton debuts on Anjunadeep’s sister label, Reflections, with his new single Remember Me, featured on his forthcoming 3-track EP Bloom. Braxton, a British DJ and producer, joined Anjunadeep in 2019. His music blends atmospheric textures with distinctive percussion, drawing from progressive house and breakbeat influences. The lead single, Remember Me, reflects on the passage of time and the inevitability of change. “Even in tough times, everything evolves; people, nations, and even the rocks we stand on. The past may beckon, but we must keep moving forward,” Braxton explains. The track features ethereal vocal textures and delicate piano tones that build into a driving soundscape. Alexander Church returns with a new series of EPs inspired by the joy of the early morning and the great outdoors. Moments on the Shoreline kicks off on his Configurations of Self label and features Ranj Kaler remixes. Alexander Church makes everything from techno and ambient to breakbeat, mostly on his own label. Says the artist of this project, "Moments on the Shoreline is a new series of releases inspired by my early morning walking on the shorelines of lakes and oceans. Capturing these moments with my camera has inspired the writing of the music in an organic way." Madraas’s latest releases are amazing as usual. Their first track is on Days like Nights by Eelke Kleijn and features a deep, haunting sound. The second is a collaboration with Russian duo ANUQRAM on Anjunabeats, featuring a mesmerising original vocal from a talented African singer. These tracks bring together unique influences and a fresh energy that I know you'll enjoy. Blake.08 brings us the Happy Finally EP, his third on Anjunadeep in just over a year. With the High Fidelity EP, Eyes Ablaze EP and more recently Jody Wisternoff collaboration BLAM all to his name, Blake continues to impress with his standout production and musicality. New EP title track Happy Finally was selected by label boss James Grant to appear on the Movement Vol. 1 compilation, and features snappy breakbeats accompanied by a unique melodic synth top line. My Way is a collaboration with Nottingham-based producer LAR and shows off more well-crafted drum work. “Italian producer Matteo Rivetto may be a new addition to the Stil vor Talent roster, you could still pretty much swear he's been with us a lifetime. Inspired by the pain experienced in a relationship, Pulling It Together was initially an acoustic song in collaboration with vocalist Mani Obeya, which Rivetto re-edited into an electronic club track.” Clocking in with their transmission on A Tribe Called Kotori, Turkish outfit Headwaters & Menachem 26 team up on Pixel Desert, a 2-track EP bound to take dance floors by storm with its laser-precise engineering of Middle-Eastern folk music tropes, 303-emulated acid basswaves and '80s-indebted synth uplift. Currently based in Ibiza, Gustin is resident for The Soundgarden events series by Nick Warren and also co-manager and A&R for onedotsixtwo and has a new label called Intu Music. He began DJ’ing in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, playing inner city house parties and illegal after hours clubs in the mid 90’s. Then upon re-locating to Amsterdam just after the millennium he caught the ear of Jayhwalk, resulting in a residency allowing him to fully develop his sound alongside industry stalwarts such as Matthew Dekay and Hippee & Halo and also curated his own weekly event named House of Progress (HoP) where he played regular seven to eight hour solo sets. In 2015 Gustin moved to Ibiza where he currently lives year round, but he can regularly be found playing across Europe, the USA and South America. Gustin’s infectious sound makes a dancefloor move from the bottom up with a unique blend of lush, pumping, tech-prog house music. His latest label release has a remix by the legend that is Martijn ten Velden. Longer is the forthcoming track I did with Mozez, it’s such a pleasure making music with him and it’s also fun to do more straight up sounds like this, I think it gives his vocals plenty of room to shine and surrounds them in a deep, atmospheric musical sandwich. Phoebe Killdeer, producer, songwriter, and singer, stands out with her eclectic artistry and compelling performances. Her live shows are visceral experiences. Known for delving into the dark side of the human condition, her emotive and mesmerising voice and stage presence rivals that of Siouxsie and PJ Harvey. She initially gained recognition with the French band Nouvelle Vague before pursuing a solo career with Phoebe Killdeer & The Short Straws. Notably, The Fade Out Line, co-written with Craig Walker & Cedric Le Roux, was reworked by French deep house DJ The Avener as Fade Out Lines, achieving global chart success. With memories of 2022’s Serendipia still fresh, Oath proudly presents a new take on the John Beltran produced LP, featuring stellar remixes to keep the musical journey alive. Xique’s remix of Yangu Milele stays true to the original, capturing its essence beautifully. Eternell says “My name is Ludvig Cimbrelius and I've heard music in my mind all my life. I often try to give it form. Music is a language capable of expressing glimpses of the depths of beauty and wonder that resides within us all. I share my music with the wish that it may help you feel a deeper resonance with your own Inner Being – the loving essence of Who You Are.” Marking the ninth instalment of Reflections emerging artists series, Reflections 09 sees the debut of six brand new artists to the label. South Korean producer Dae Kim with his gentle composition A Sense of Longing, which intertwines synthesisers, guitar loops and vocal layers, submerging the listener in a warm, ambient soundscape. American pianist Bruce Brubaker presents Music For Airports 1.1 (Edit), an acoustic piano reinterpretation of a foundational piece by Brian Eno. “Loops that seem to be the same may be a bit different, but then, the things that have differences are fundamentally the same. An aspect of a lot of music being made now is the contrast between rhythm played by people with its imperfections (or ‘expression’) versus precisely measured rhythms produced and reproduced electronically. For me, this opening track seems to prove one of Brian and Peter Schmidt’s Oblique Strategies — ‘Repetition is a form of change.’ Sonically, many of the changes in room and perspective that occur in my long version of this music happen with a different pacing in the shorter mix.” Bruce Brubaker. Following Mattr's remixes for Max Cooper and Grammy award winner Steven Weston comes a slice of melancholy electronica on his own imprint - Loft & Sound. Fusing his signature granular synthesis with syncopated rhythms and warm pads Cholia has a sombre tone and continues his exploration of broken beats and lush soundscapes.
