Opening with the inspiration for the name of this mix the track Look For What’s Looking by Alex Donofrio who is smashing it with the productions, loving his mixture of sounds from chill to more up-tempo organic, melodic vibes. Dave Brevi decided to try a new style for himself and it worked out great, Green Morning (Sublabel of Ylla Music) presents two incredible chillout tracks; Latecomer and Calluna. Diversity of Earth's nature and distant fairy worlds, greatness of limitless Space and travel to other planets, all this and much more tell you the music of dreams and pleasant memories by Green Morning label. Huge fan of Koresma (Ryan Lindberg) who’s an electronic producer based in Los Angeles, California, Koresma creates a blend of chilled electro-acoustic music centered around a strong drum groove, inspired by landscapes and their influence on sounds; lots of quality sounds and collaborations to check out here. Eliza Noble and Jennifer Skillman are Eli & Fur; the British live act, singer-songwriter and producer duo whose career together stretches back for nearly a decade. Found In The Wild is the pair's long-awaited studio debut which will be released this summer on seminal electronic imprint and long-time label home Anjunadeep. Wild Skies is taken from the 'Found' collection - a sensual and otherworldly ensemble which glues the duo's trademark textured sound palette together perfectly. Russian producer Coout (Sine Music) has a diverse creative sense as he proves once again with his new single This Time. After his previous chillout and ambient releases he now surprises us with a new musical direction with a smooth chillstep beat, crackling vinyl sounds create warmth and male vocals surprisingly and seamlessly blend in a wonderful call and response to the main beautifully sung female vocals. The sublime label Art Vibes is back with their annual compilation Spring Vibes, for the fourth edition, they took the talent of 8 producers to an unprecedented creative level. With the essential characteristics of the music collective, full of melodic and progressive atmospheres, 9DEEP - Another Galaxy was my favourite track but there are lots to choose from. Tinlicker return to Anjunadeep with their Lost Gravity EP, a four-track club EP that calls back to their uplifting progressive roots, Jordi Van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer have been busy since the acclaimed Sleepwalker EP (their last standalone release on the label). Der Waldläufer produces another sublime chilled track called Sandman, more info here. !K7 presents the latest chapter in Niklas Paschburg’s rework project, a series focusing on reimaginings of the German producer and pianist’s most recent album Svalbard. OPERA has a completely different concept from any other track featured in the rework series, it’s a collaborative re-work of Niklas’s track where we see him performing the accordion, Hannes Kretzer playing synths and Dobrawa Czocher on cello. This is the result of a meeting with three extraordinary artists/musicians a unique journey between space, ambient, folk and classical music, conceived as a tribute to the accordion, the instrument together with the piano preferred by Niklas. Kuan is the name of Raffunk's (from Gushi & Raffunk) new project that stems from live improvisation during yoga practices, using music as a conveyor of our inner places of being, modifying itself each time by the synergy generated in every session between the musician and the practitioners; from this emotional and physical exchange, the 6 growing phases of From Here On are born, a journey within each of us. Calibre releases his first bonafide 140bpm record, all of the tracks have been road-tested in Calibre's DJ sets over the last 2/3 years with many of them being sought-out by his hardcore fans. It was only a matter of time then that he put them out for all to consume. With a nod to the dancefloor, the clear idea for the album came about following the release of his most personal album to date Planet Hearth. “It still works in the headspace but ultimately it's been written for the sweaty club experience we miss now, also after an album like Planet Hearth it felt very liberating to do.
