Positive music that shines bright, wishing for good times to all this summer.

Following the release of String Layers in 2020, 7Ki are back with a second edition in their series with 21 previously unreleased tracks to celebrate the variety and diversity of string instruments. The series is put together to highlight music which exists between the avant-garde, contemporary-classical and instrumental worlds; Freya Arde - Shimmer is a beautiful track to start this mix with. Rediit next with a lovely sunset track called Inspiratio. With the original collaborative track from two of Loci Records biggest acts - Emancipator and Murge picking up some serious support the first of two brilliant remixes of Sea to Sky come courtesy of Spinnin Records alum - Parra For Cuva, and the superb il:lo. Also tracks from New Leaf by Andrew Rothschild are re-imagined by downtempo favorites; Sebastian Davidson & Cir-cle Remix fitted nicely in this mix. OLAN (real name Luzana Flores) is proud to release her debut album Contra, out now via independent record label Anjunadeep; Contra is inculcated with a variety of electronic styles from melodic house, breakbeat, downtempo and drum & bass, to ambient and hip-hop. Jares (3rd Avenue) next with a deep sultry flowing electric track called Out of Time, perfect for sunrises and festivals. Russian producers Makebo and Amonita (Anjunadeep) present new single Back To The Roots which features the unmistakable strings sample from The Verve's 1997 track Bittersweet Symphony and shows off the pair's prowess for crafting atmospheric organic house melodies. Creating lush Electronica soundscapes and dance-oriented music from his base in the North of the UK, Verdance has steadily built a growing fanbase over the last couple of years, picking up support from SiriusXM, WorldwideFM, Double J to name a few, now he releases his debut album Islands with Emancipator’s Loci Records. Sine Music releases SINE’s new Album Einklang (German for “to be in line / to harmonize”). That’s the moment of inner peace and tranquility. Einklang describes the ease while making music, the fusion of expression and emotion on the instrument. Rubin Henkel is an artist who reconfigures memory throughout his music. In his debut album Ruhe (2018) Rubin collected the first melodies he ever recorded around his childhood and early teens. Back then he captured the music on a number of devices; his mother's old compact camera, various iPods, and sound recorders. In 2018 he reinterpreted those works in his studio in Berlin and released the album in the same year. Rubin’s new release Restless cradles the listener with themes of contrast, survival and the fragility of our own existence, both socially and environmentally. The album breathes and vibrates, as though it is living, telling of a Berlin marked in different eras. Belau next with a track called Dreamstate featuring the lovely vocals of Akacia. Beautiful Life by Mozez gets remixed by the wonderful Gelka who is a regular on the podcast. Eternell makes the most relaxing ambient music perfect for meditation and relaxing, his album Mira has some long play tracks including a version of Cove which over an hour! Moby’s latest album Reprise –Remixes will be available on high-quality 180g black vinyl, released by Deutsche Grammophon, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Moby’s debut album, Reprise –Remixes explores the terrain where electronic and acoustic sounds meet. Twelve artists –twelve voices: Bambounou, Biscits, Max Cooper, Efdemin, Anfisa Letyago, Mathame, Planningtorock, Topic, Felsmann + Tiley, Peter Gregson and Christian Löffler have all contributed, the album also includes four remixes from Moby himself.
