Starting off with Origen by Oine with its beautiful vocals, wide soundscape, and quality beats, lush. The sixth and final offering from Riccicomoto's landmark album Huge Distances on Ready Mix Records boasts brand new remixes from Chris Zippel and Hausi, featuring a haunting live piano by Gustavo Varela, The Inner Perception is a reflective, atmospheric downtempo gem. Sumo, the self professed sound nerd from southern Germany with an eclectic musical taste ranging from traditional Japanese influences to his main love, UK garage, returns to Sonar Kollektiv with a more mature, melancholic take on his signature sound with the sonorous offerings of the Trakul EP, due to be released this autumn. Last month DJ & Producer Melle Brown, who describes her production style as 'blurring the lines between Neo-Soul, Jazz and House', released a single Feel About You. The track features Annie Mac, with her first venture into lyric writing and singing. Now, iconic DJ & Producer DJ Koze delivers a club-ready remix. Pampa Records label boss layers Annie's smooth-spoken vocals over melodic piano chords and slick kicks, creating a perfectly euphoric dancefloor track stamped with Koze's recognisable production style. Iconic producer David Morales (Bedrock Records) remixes the final track from Pig&Dan's 'Destination Unknown II' album, which was released earlier this year after being eagerly anticipated for some time. His Make You Go Higher Stereo Remix takes the track deeper than the original, yet still weaves a warm canvas of tripped-out tones, reverberating vocal touches and heady synth work. David Morales is a globally revered American DJ, a Grammy award-winning record producer, songwriter, and businessman. He has produced and remixed over 500 records for an all-star roster of multi-platinum artists, including Mariah Carey, U2, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, and Whitney Houston. BLR returns to FRCST after dropping the massive Influencer, showcasing a deep and progressive sound that should give anyone the chills. Trademark next-level synth work combined with a massive vocal line makes sure Sinner is one to be reckoned with, love this. Nils Hoffmann teams up with Australian singer-songwriter Panama for the next single Far Behind. Taken from Nils' forthcoming album A Radiant Sign, out September on Anjunadeep. Opening with Panama's dreamy vocals, Nils gradually layers atmospheric chords with a bright plucked synth, culminating in a rich, warm production that epitomises his sound. Dreamy atmospheres, futuristic zithers and insane drops: here comes Solstice Vibes V, Art Vibes’ annual summer compilation… Ethera’ by Sasson is a piece that invites us to reflect on life without leaving the dance-floor. It features delightful moments of calmness yet showcases resolutely uplifting parts. With its magical sounds it keeps one’s mind completely focused at all times. Influential singer, songwriter, and philanthropist, Perry Farrell, has revolutionised alternative music, underground culture, and modern festivals. The groundbreaking alt-rock band, Jane's Addiction, was Farrell's game changing creative fusion of 70s psychedelia, metal, punk, and proto-grunge and he subsequently founded one of the world’s foremost festivals; Lollapalooza which has continued to lead the modern music scene forward for 30 years. Heaven After Dark is a brand new electronic label founded by Perry and borne from a series of one-off events and his huge passion for dance and electronic music. It launches with two amazing remixes of Perry's recent single ‘Mend’, co-written by late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Tim Green soaks in the sonics of phenomenon All Day I Dream fresh from his massive collaboration with Sebastien Leger Duel. An expert in remixing having reworked everyone from Sir Paul McCartney and Cassius to Ben Bohmer, here he delivers a beautiful, dreamy and sublime reimagining using elements of the original instrumentation from the virtuoso lineup on the record to captivating effect. After a spate of singles paving the way - UK based producer and visual artist Bon-Psy finally releases the first EP of a much larger conceptual project titled Order via Asta Hiroki’s Folded Music imprint. Imagine a reality where you live in complete order... From the outside you seem like an individual who is living a fulfilled life. You have a house, family, friends, nice car, a well-paid 9 to 5 job. Society suggests that these are the things that are often needed to live a happy and fulfilled life. Whilst a life of order can be fulfilling at first, it is rigid and restrictive. Without a dash (or more) of chaos, an ordered existence can in fact be intolerable… This EP explores this concept via the medium of leftfield electronica, modern jazz and dance music. UK electronic lynchpin George FitzGerald (Domino Records) returns with his first official taste of solo music in three years, a brand new single titled Ultraviolet. An effervescent cut of sprawling electronica, the track applies FitzGerald’s visionary scope to a vast soundscape. Talking on the album and his music production style, Stefan notes 'I have found myself drawn to synthesisers from the 1970s and 1980s. There is an aura to these instruments. Their sound is distinctive, and they resonate with some part of me that facilitates the return that I have sought. The range of each is often very limited, but precise and concentrated in its essence. I seek to capture the sound in an immediate and raw form and therefore want to process and arrange as little as possible. Hailing from the Irish town of Kilkenny, 49th & Main (Counter Records) are an indie-pop duo consisting of producer Ben O’Sullivan and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Paddy King. This year has seen a welcome return for Marley Carroll, continuing his impressive legacy of enticing downtempo and electronica laced work via his own Melanaster Records imprint. His new EP Voices is a wonderfully cohesive dance record that seems destined to become both a DJ staple as well as a fans favourite. Let it Happen’ is the new single from Louis Cole, an LA singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a penchant for wearing animal prints, silly t-shirt slogans and skeleton bodysuits. Sometimes he likes to film himself playing the drums topless and sporting a plastic waffle suspended on a rope chain. These are all things that many of us would struggle to pull off with any style or panache, but Cole absolutely bosses everything he does because his off-the-wall style is matched, nay surpassed, by the sheer weight of his artistry. Anjunadeep is excited to release ‘In Another Lifetime (Remixed)’, a thrilling reimagining of Tinlicker’s celebrated album In Another Lifetime. The compilation features four brand new reinterpretations from the likes of Joseph Ray, Black Sun Empire, Malibu, and Mees Salomé, alongside acclaimed remixes from Reinier Zonneveld and Helsloot. On the second single drop from his forthcoming debut album, every breath and every musical inflection can be heard on Regen, a truly mesmerising piece of neo-classical composition from the Dutch artist and composer Andert Tysma. On Children Of Trinoom, to be released on Apollo Records in September, Tysma fully immerses himself in a solo offering of breath-taking quality. The seasoned musician has toured the world performing bass and piano with several artists and bands and it is on this, his debut long player, that he tells an abstract autobiographical story across eight diverging tracks. Recorded primarily in Atlas Studios on the outskirts of Berlin and engineered and mixed by the award-winning Robin Hunt, who constructed a unique recording space in a repurposed GDR metal foundry, the long player brings together eight emotive and tender compositions showcasing the refreshing neo-classic style that Tysma has made his own. Lemongrassmusic present the EP Noir by Slow World, a music project of German musician and producer Daniel Voss (alias Five Seasons), dedicated to the slow movements of life, the deep and silent enjoyment of the beauty and magnificence of our world and the whole life.
